our village

Paraza is 15 minutes from the lively city of Narbonne. It is a quiet city but lives up in the summer with its location along the canal and all the boats passing by. The whole region along and around the Canal du Midi is extremely popular with cycling tourists. Enjoy a nice dinner at Café du Port, visit the Chateau paraza and sample their wines, buy a bottle of home, look into our dear neighbors who are artists and sell vintage clothes, etc. Provide the basic requirement or have a beer or a cup of espresso in the shop / cafeet (open all days). Be sure to visit the little church inside which is very beautiful. Do you need much more on your holiday than sitting on the terrace, taking a swim in the pool, watching the boats as they try to add along the canal in the evening and enjoy the sunset and listen to the crickets? Everything else will you have just a little bit tomorrow with a car or bike ..... DEMAIN IL Y A UN AUTRE JOUR ... Tomorrow is another day ...

From spring to late autumn, the village is visited by many boat travelers who stop here to visit the village and the castle. Throughout the year, both French families and also many relocated from England, Germany, Italy and several countries, making the village alive all year round. In Paraza, it really feels like living in a real village, yet close to everything.
